Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.マルチルーメン本体部分と、それぞれ、マルチルーメン・カテーテルのそ れぞれのルーメンに接続された、複数の拡張チューブと、カテーテル自体の本体 と拡張チューブの間にインタフェースを提供するマニホルドとを備えるマルチル ーメン多目的心カテーテルにおいて、 ファイバ・オプティック・フィラメントを保持して支持するための少なくとも 1つのルーメンと、 熱素子コネクタを収納するための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 温度測定用の装置を収納するための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 カテーテルを患者に配置することを助けるためにカテーテルの遠位端に据え付 けられたバルーンに結合された少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 ファイバ・オプテイック・ルーメンに配設され、カテーテルの本体の使用長に わたって、カテーテルに結合されたファイバ・ オプティック・カプラ内へ延び るオプティカル・フィラメン トを含む、カテーテルに結合されたファイバ・オプティック装置と、 カテーテルの使用長にわたって、カテーテルに結合されたハウジング内へ延び る配線によってカテーテルの遠位端に据え付けられた温度測定装置と、 カテーテルの遠位端でカテーテル上に置かれた外部熱素子と、 熱素子から、カテーテルの使用長に沿って延び、カテーテルの近位端で熱素子 ハウジングに接続されたコネクタと、 カテーテルの遠位端に据え付けられたバルーンと、バルーンから、カテーテル の本体部分の使用長に沿って、バルーンへのアクセスを提供する装置へ延びるバ ルーン・ルーメンとを備えるカテーテル位置決め装置とを備え、 熱素子装置が、連続心拍出量を測定するように外部装置と共に作動し、ファイ バ・オプティック素子が、血液中の酸素濃度(SVO2 ) を測定するように外部 装置と協働することを特徴とするマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 2.カテーテルが、その本体部分の細い部分を含み、前記細い部分が遠位端の近 くに配設され、前記外部熱素子が、カテーテルの細い部分に配設されることを特 徴とする請求の範囲第1項 に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 3.熱素子が、カテーテル本体の細い部分の周りに巻かれたヒータ・コイルから 成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテー テル。 4.カテーテルの細い部分が、長さが10cmないし15cmであり、カテーテ ルの遠位端から10cmないし15cm以上の所に配設されることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第3項に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 5.カテーテルの周りに巻かれるヒータ・コイルが、隣接するコイルを分離する のに十分な中心間間隔で並べられることを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載の マルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 6.ヒータ・コイル巻線が、0.1インチ (0.25cm)ないし0.2イン チ(0.50cm)の範囲の中心間間隔を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 5項に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 7.カテーテルが、ヒータ・コイルの遠位端とカテーテルの遠位端の間に配設さ れた遠位ヒータ圧力ポートを含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第6項に記載のマ ルチルーメン多目的心カテ ーテル。 8.温度測定装置が、ヒータ・コイルの遠位端の下流側にある少なくとも10c mのサーミスタから成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項に記載のマルチルー メン多目的心カテーテル。 9.ヒータ・コイルが、カテーテルの本体に構造的に類似の材料を被覆されるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 10.カテーテルの細い部分に据え付けられたヒータ・コイルおよびその被覆が 、カテーテルの本体部分の直径をおおよそ近似し、それによって、患者の体への カテーテルの挿人を円滑に行えるようにすることを特徴とする請求の範囲第9項 に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 11.カテーテルの少なくとも1つのルーメンが、サーミスタの上流側に提供さ れた少なくとも1つの注射液ポートを有する注射液ルーメンから成り、それによ って、注射液流体を患者の血流内に注入し、サーミスタで熱希釈読取り値を得て 、間欠的心心拍出量値を計算するうえで使用できる値を提供することができるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル 。 12.熱素子が、カテーテル本体の遠位端の近くでカテーテル本体の周りに螺旋 状に巻かれたカテーテル薄膜部材から成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に 記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 13.熱素子が、埋め込まれた単線式回路を有し、カテーテル本体の遠位端でカ テーテル本体を覆う薄膜スリーブから成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に 記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 14.熱素子が、カテーテル本体の遠位端の近くでカテーテル本体を覆う自己調 整導電プラスチック・シースから成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載 のマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 15.熱素子が、カテーテル本体の近くでカテーテル本体の隣に配設された内側 流体ジャケットを有する熱交換機から成り、外側シースが前記流体ジャケットを 覆うことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のマルチルーメン多目的心カテー テル。 16.マルチルーメン本体部分と、それぞれ、マルチルーメン・カテーテルのそ れぞれのルーメンに接続された、複数の拡張チューブと、カテーテル自体の本体 と拡張チューブの間にイン タフェースを提供するマニホルドとを備えるマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル において、 ファイバ・オプティック・フィラメントを保持して支持するための少なくとも 1つのルーメンと、 熱素子コネクタを収納するための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 温度測定用の装置を収納するための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 カテーテルを患者に配置することを助けるためにカテーテルの遠位端に据え付 けられたバルーンに結合された少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 ファイバ・オプテイック・ルーメンに配設され、カテーテルの本体の使用長に わたって、カテーテルに結合されたファイバ・オプティック・カプラ内へ延びる 、オプティカル・フィラメントを含む、カテーテルに結合されたファイバ・オプ ティック装置と、 カテーテルの使用長にわたって、カテーテルに結合されたハウジング内へ延び る配線によってカテーテルの遠位端に据え付けられた温度測定装置と、 カテーテルの遠位端の近くに配設された、カテーテルの本体部分の細い部分と 、 カテーテルの細い部分上に置かれた外部熱素子と、 熱素子から、カテーテルの使用長に沿って延び、カテーテルの近位端で熱素子 ハウジングに接続されたコネクタと、 カテーテルの遠位端に据え付けられたバルーンと、バルーンから、カテーテル の本体部分の使用長に沿って、バルーンへのアクセスを提供する装置へ延びるバ ルーン・ルーメンとを備えるカテーテル位置決め装置とを備え、 熱素子装置が、連続心拍出量を測定するように外部装置と共に作動し、ファイ バ・オプティック素子が、血液中の酸素濃度(SVO2)を測定するように外部 装置と協働することを特徴とするマルチルーメン多目的心カテーテル。 17.マルチルーメン本体部分と、それぞれ、マルチルーメン・カテーテルの それぞれのルーメンに接続された、複数の拡張チューブと、カテーテル自体の本 体と拡張チューブの間にインタフェースを提供するマニホルドとを備えるマルチ ルーメン多目的心カテーテルにおいて、 ファイバ・オプティック・フィラメントを保持して支持する ための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 熱素子コネクタを収納するための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 温度測定用の装置を収納するための少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 カテーテルを患者に配置することを助けるためにカテーテルの遠位端に据え付 けられたバルーンに結合された少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 ファイバ・オプテイック・ルーメンに配設され、カテーテルの本体の使用長に わたって、カテーテルに結合されたファイバ・オプティック・カプラ内へ延びる 、オプティカル・フィラメントを含む、カテーテルに結合されたファイバ・オプ ティック装置と、 カテーテルの使用長にわたって、カテーテルに結合されたハウジング内へ延び る配線によってカテーテルの遠位端に据え付けられた温度測定装置と、 カテーテルの遠位端の近くに配設された、カテーテルの本体部分の細い部分と 、 カテーテルの細い部分上に置かれた外部熱素子と、 熱素子から、カテーテルの使用長に沿って延び、カテーテルの近位端で熱素子 ハウジングに接続されたコネクタと、 温度測定装置の上流側に提供された少なくとも1つの注射液ポートを有する注 射液ルーメンから成る、カテーテルの少なくとも1つのルーメンと、 カテーテルの遠位端に据え付けられたバルーンと、バルーンから、カテーテル の本体部分の使用長に沿って、バルーンへのアクセスを提供する装置へ延びるバ ルーン・ルーメンとを備えるカテーテル位置決め装置とを備え、 熱素子装置が、連続心拍出量を測定するように外部装置と共に作動し、ファイ バ・オプティック素子が、血液中の酸素濃度(SVO2)を測定するように外部 装置と協働し、注射液ルーメンによって、注射液流体を患者の血流内に注入し、 温度測定装置で熱希釈読取り値を得て、間欠的心心拍出量値を計算するうえで使 用できる値を提供することができることを特徴とするマルチルーメン多目的心カ テーテル。
