- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.向上した溶融およびフィルム強度を示す低分子量の塩化オレフィンポリマ ー類の単離方法において、 (a)ASTM D 1238、方法Eに従って測定した時のメルトインデック スが100g/10分未満であるC2−C8オレフィンポリマーと、重量平均分子 量が約10,000未満のC2−C8オレフィンポリマーとを、それぞれ約2−1 5:100の重量比で一緒にすることにより、オレフィンポリマーブレンド物を 調製し、 (b)このオレフィンポリマーブレンド物を、フリーラジカル触媒と塩素化剤の 存在下、ハロゲン化溶媒の中で塩素化することにより、塩素含有量が20−70 重量%の塩化オレフィンポリマーブレンド物を生じさせ、そして (c)この塩化ポリマーブレンド物の回収を行う、 ことを含む方法。 2.段階(b)の塩化オレフィンポリマーブレンド物と段階(b)のハロゲン 化溶媒をドラム乾燥機のロール間隙に導入し、このドラム乾燥機上にこの塩化オ レフィンポリマーブレンド物のフィルムを生じさせた後、このドラムからこのフ ィルムを離すことによって、この塩化オレフィンポリマーブレンド物の回収を行 う請求の範囲1の方法。 3.段階(b)の塩化オレフィンポリマーブレンド物を段階(b)のハロゲン 化溶媒の中に入れるか或は濃縮ポリマー溶融物としてこのブレンド物を排気スク リュー押出し機に導入した後、本質的に溶媒が除去された塩化オレフィンブレン ド物を押し出すことによって、この塩化オレフィンポリマーブレンド物の回収を 行う請求の範囲1の方法。 4.該塩素化剤が元素状の塩素である請求の範囲1の方法。 5.該塩素化剤がクロロスルホン化剤である請求の範囲1の方法。 6.該オレフィンポリマーが、C2−C8アルファ−モノオレフィンのホモポリ マー、C2−C8アルファ−モノオレフィンと一酸化炭素のコポリマー、またはエ チレンとビニルアルコールのコポリマーであるか、或はC2−C8アルファ−モノ オレフィンと、C3−C10アルファモノオレフィン類、不飽和C3−C20モノカル ボン酸のC1−C12アルキルエステル、不飽和C3−C20モノもしくはジカルボン 酸、不飽和C4−C8ジカルボン酸の無水物、飽和C2−C18カルボン酸のビニル エステル、および不飽和環状無水物または不飽和C3−C20モノもしくはジカル ボン酸でグラフト化されているC2−C8アルファ−モノオレフィン類、から成る 群から選択される少なくとも1種のエチレン系不飽和モノマーとのコポリマーで ある請求の範囲1の方法。 7.重量平均分子量が約10,000未満の該オレフィンポリマーがポリエチ レンである請求の範囲1の方法。 8.重量平均分子量が約10,000未満の該オレフィンポリマーがエチレン 酢酸ビニルである請求の範囲1の方法。 9.重量平均分子量が約10,000未満の該オレフィンポリマーがエチレン とアクリル酸のコポリマーである請求の範囲1の方法。 10.重量平均分子量が約10,000未満の該オレフィンポリマーがエチレ ンとメタアクリル酸のコポリマーである請求の範囲1の方法。 11.該塩化オレフィンポリマーブレンド物が25−65重量%の塩素含有量 を有する請求の範囲1の方法。 12.メルトインデックスが100g/10分未満である該C2− C8ポリオレフィンのメルトインデックスが2−10g/10分である請求の範 囲1の方法。 13.該塩化ポリマーブレンド物が有する化学的に結合した硫黄の含有量が1 −3重量%である請求の範囲1の方法。 14.追加的に塩化パラフィンワックス可塑剤を存在させる請求の範囲1の方 法。 15.メルトインデックスが100g/10分未満である該ポリオレフィンの 密度と重量平均分子量が約10,000未満の該C2−C8オレフィンポリマーの 密度が互いの密度の約0.01g/cc範囲内である請求の範囲1の方法。
