Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 亜鉛を含むアノード、二酸化マンガンを含むカソード、及びアルカリ電解 質を有する一次電気化学電池であって、円筒形ケーシングはその開口端部がシー ル部材で密閉され、アノード、カソード及び電解質は全て円筒形ケーシング内で 関連して作用し;シール部材とケーシングの内表面により電池の内部容積が定め られ;電池の内部容積に対する、アノードとカソードの各々の合計容量の比は、 各々が内部容積1cm3当たり約0.48アンペア・時間よりも大きく、アノードの亜 鉛の密度は、アノード容積1cm3当たり1.6グラム以上であり、二酸化マンガンの 密度は、カソード容積1cm3当たり2.8グラム以上である。 2. 請求項1の一次アルカリ電池において、電解質は水酸化カリウム(KOH )を含んでおり、KOHの量に対する亜鉛の量の比は、KOH1グラム当たり亜 鉛2.8グラム以上である。 3. 請求項1の一次アルカリ電池において、電解質は水酸化カリウム(KOH )を含んでおり、KOHの量に対する亜鉛の量の比は、KOH1グラム当たり亜 鉛3グラム以上である。 4. 請求項1の一次アルカリ電池において、亜鉛の容積容量に対する、二酸化 マンガンの容積容量の比は約 1:1乃至11:1の範囲である。 5. 請求項1の一次アルカリ電池において、亜鉛アノードの容積容量(0.82A- Hr/gに基づく)と二酸化マンガンの容積容量(0.37A-Hr/gに基づく)は、各々が 、内部容積1cm3当たり約0.50アンペア・時間を超えており、アノード中の亜鉛 の密度は、アノード容積1cm3当たり1.7グラム以上であり、二酸化マンガンの密 度はカソード容積1cm3当たり2.9グラム以上である。 6. 亜鉛を含むアノード、二酸化マンガンを含むカソード、アノードとカソー ドの間にあるセパレータ、及び水酸化カリウム(KOH)を含むアルカリ電解質 を有する一次電気化学電池であって、それら全ては、開口端部がシール部材で密 閉された円筒形ケーシングの中で関連して作用し;シール部材とケーシングの内 表面により電池の内部容積が定められ;カソードは環状構造であり、その外壁は ケーシングの内壁に接触し、セパレータは環状カソードの中央キャビティに沿っ ており、亜鉛アノードはセパレータに沿うキャビテイの中にあり;電池の内部容 積は16cm3よりも大きく、電池の内部容積に対する、アノードとカソードの各々 の合計容量の比は、各々が内部容積1cm3当たり約0.48アンペア・時間よりも大 きく、アノードの亜鉛の密度は、アノード容積1cm3当たり1.4グラム以上であり 、水酸化カリウムに対する亜鉛の重量比は2.8:1以上であ る。 7. 請求項6の一次アルカリ電池において、カソード構造の中の二酸化マンガ ンの密度は、カソード容積1cm3当たり二酸化マンガン2.8グラム以上である。 8. 請求項6の一次アルカリ電池において、亜鉛の容積容量に対する、二酸化 マンガンの容積容量の比は約1:1乃至1.1:1である。 9. 亜鉛を含むアノード、二酸化マンガンを含むカソード、アノードとカソー ドの間にあるセパレータ、及び水酸化カリウム(KOH)を含むアルカリ電解質 を有する一次電気化学電池であって、それら全ては、開口端部がシール部材で密 閉された円筒形のケーシングの中で関連して作用し、シール部材とケーシングの 内表面により電池の内部容積が規定され;カソードは環状構造であり、その外壁 はケーシングの内壁に接触し、セパレータは環状カソードの中央キャビティに沿 っており、亜鉛アノードはセパレータに沿うキャビテイの中にあり;電池の内部 容積は7cm3よりも少なく、電池の内部容積に対する、アノードとカソードの各 々の合計容量の比は、各々が内部容積1cm3当たり約0.5アンペア・時間よりも大 きく、アノードの亜鉛の密度は、アノード容積1cm3当たり1.7グラム以上であり 、水酸化カリウムに対する亜鉛の重量比は3.1:1以上である。 10.請求項9の一次アルカリ電池において、カソード構造の中の二酸化マンガ ンの密度は、カソード容積1cm3当たり二酸化マンガン2.8グラム以上である。 11.請求項9の一次アルカリ電池において、亜鉛の容積容量に対する、二酸化 マンガンの容積容量の比は約1:1乃至1.1:1である。 12.AAサイズのアルカリ電気化学電池であって、カソードは3アンペア・時 間を超える二酸化マンガン(グラム当たり0.370アンペア・時間に基づく)を有 し、アノードは3アンペア・時間を超える亜鉛(グラム当たり0.82アンペア・時 間に基づく)を有し、カソードの中のMnO2密度は、カソード容積1cm3当たり 2.75グラムを超えている。 13.AAAサイズのアルカリ電気化学電池であって、カソードは1.3アンペア ・時間を超える二酸化マンガン(グラム当たり0.370アンペア・時間に基づ く)を有し、アノードは1.3アンペア・時間を超える亜鉛(グラム当たり0.82ア ンペア・時間に基づく)を有し、MnO2密度は、カソード容積1cm3当たり2.8 グラムを超えている。 14.Cサイズのアルカリ電気化学電池であって、カソードは8.5アンペア・時 間を超える二酸化マンガン(グラム当たり0.370アンペア・時間に基づく)を有 し、アノードは8.5アンペア・時間を超える亜鉛(グラム当た り0.82アンペア・時間に基づく)を有し、カソードの中のMnO2密度は、カソ ード容積1cm3当たり2.7グラムを超えている。 15.Dサイズのアルカリ電気化学電池であって、カソードは19アンペア・時間 を超える二酸化マンガン(グラム当たり0.370アンペア・時間に基づく)を有し 、アノードは19アンペア・時間を超える亜鉛(グラム当たり0.82アンペア・時間 に基づく)を有し、カソードの中のMnO2密度は、カソード容積1cm3当たり2. 7グラムを超えている。
