Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 測定電極、固体電解質及び基準電極を有する、ネルンスト原理によって 作動する少なくとも1つの濃淡電池を具備しており、 測定電極は、測定ガスと接触しており、基準ガス体積と接触している基準電極 に、固体電解質を介して接続されており、 基準ガス体積と測定ガスとの間の粒子交換が少なくとも阻害されるように、基 準ガス体積が測定ガスから分離されており、 測定電極と基準電極との間で取り出される濃淡電池の出力電圧が、測定ガスの 酸素濃度と基準ガス体積の酸素濃度の差の尺度を示し、 結合状態で電流が生じるように、基準電極と測定電極との間で結合される電流 源を具備しており、前記電流は、固体電解質の中で測定電極から基準電極に酸素 が運ばれるような方向に流れる、測定ガスの酸素含量検出装置において、 スイッチを具備しており、第1の切換状態では、電流源を濃淡電池と結合し、 第2の切換状態では、電流源を濃淡電池から分離し、従って分離状態では、測定 電極と基準電極との間の電圧は、電流源の影響を受けないことを特徴とする酸素 含量検出装置。 2. スイッチが第2の切換状態にある場合、測定 電極と基準電極との間の電圧に対する特性値を、酸素含量を検出するために用い ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置を用いた測定ガスの酸素含量検出方法 。 3. スイッチを2つの切換状態の間で周期的に交互に切り換えることを特徴 とする請求項2に記載の測定ガスの酸素含量検出方法。 4. それぞれ2つの切換状態の持続時間の比が、切換状態1での基準ガス体 積への酸素供給が、切換状態2での基準ガス体積からの酸素流出を時間平均にお いて上回るように、前もって決められていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の 測定ガスの酸素含量検出方法。 5. 第1の切換状態の持続時間が、第2の切換状態の持続時間の1/20か ら1/2までであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の測定ガスの酸素含量検出 方法。
