Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability and workability by strongly integrating a steeper pad and the longitudinal beam of the ladder type sleeper by means of a simple method. SOLUTION: The manufacture of the longitudinal beam 1 of a ladder type sleeper is that in which concrete material 1a being the material of the longitudinal beam 1 of the ladder type sleeper is placed inside a form for forming the longitudinal beam 1; on the other hand, in which the end claw parts 9a of locking members 9 leaving an empty space 9b are fixed to the fitting surface 3a of a sleeper pad 3 at prescribed intervals. Before the concrete material 1a as the material of the longitudinal beam 1 of the ladder-type sleeper is hardened, or when it is in a half-hardened condition, the sleeper pad 3 is placed so that the locking members 9 is embedded inside the concrete material 1a to be formed into the longitudinal beam 1, and as the concrete material 1a of the longitudinal beam 1 is hardened, the sleeper pad 3 is integrally and strongly fixed to the longitudinal beam 1 of the sleeper pad 3 through locking members 9.

In a ballast ballast track, an anti-vibration material made of rubber or the like is attached to the underside of the sleeper to absorb and mitigate vibrations generated when a railway vehicle passes over the rail. Being developed. Since this vibration damping material is subjected to repeated compressive loads and shear loads in the front-rear direction, it must be sufficiently fixed to prevent the vibration damping material from slipping from the sleeper during use.

However, the method of integrating by using an adhesive or uneven surface is as follows in the sleeper pad.
Repeated compressive loads and longitudinal tensile loads act repeatedly, causing separation in a short period of time, which poses a problem in terms of reliability and workability. In addition, nut-shaped plugs and screw nails are used for integration. In the case of the method, a lot of labor and time are required for processing, it becomes expensive, and there is a problem in durability.
