(57) An object of the present invention is to provide a reversible thermosensitive recording layer on a part or the whole surface and to eliminate a gap between a card and the reversible thermosensitive recording layer so that the reversible thermosensitive recording layer becomes cloudy and transparent. Provided is a card having a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer which is firmly adhered onto a card without destroying its characteristics and which is free from warpage of the card due to a difference in heat shrinkage of a card substrate. SOLUTION: In the injection molding of a card in which a resin is injected into a mold for molding, a reversible thermosensitive recording medium is inserted into the mold in a position corresponding to the front surface or the back surface, or the front and back surfaces of the card, and molding with the resin. In the card having a reversible thermosensitive recording layer, the reversible thermosensitive recording medium has a constitution in which a release layer, a protective layer, a reversible thermosensitive layer, a coloring layer and an adhesive layer are sequentially laminated on a support, The layer is inserted so as to face the outer surface of the card, a resin is injected into a mold to mold the card, and then the support of the reversible thermosensitive recording medium is peeled off.

In addition, as a special usage, in the case of membership cards etc., if members use this card according to certain regulations, they may give premiums, points, etc. to members, but in this case, premiums, points, etc. in the card , For example, it was necessary to record it magnetically and to introduce it in a guide other than this.

In order to meet this requirement, a magnetic microcapsule in which a magnetic material is enclosed in a microcapsule is adhered to the front or back surface of the card with an adhesive or the like, and a card that displays a part of information recorded contents is developed. ing. However, since the magnetic material of the magnetic microcapsule has a dark color tone that is close to metallic color or black, there is a risk of impairing contrast or design.

As a method of forming the reversible thermosensitive recording layer on a card, there is a method of forming a recess in a part of the card and adhering the reversible thermosensitive recording layer with an adhesive or the like. However, since it is attached to the concave portion of the card with an adhesive or the like, a gap is formed between the side wall of the card concave portion and the end face of the reversible thermosensitive recording layer, which cannot be prevented. There was a risk of peeling. Further, it is technically difficult to make the surface of the card almost completely flush with the surface of the card support even if the card is provided with recesses and bonded together. Further, when the reversible thermosensitive recording layer is provided on the card by the thermal lamination method or the injection molding method, the card of the reversible thermosensitive recording layer is largely warped because the support and the card base material have different thermal contraction. It was not the target.

Alternatively, it is inserted into one position corresponding to the back surface and is adsorbed. The reversible heat-sensitive transfer medium 9 inserted into the mold by the above method is injected with the molding resin 8 after the mold is clamped, and then the card 11 is molded. Further, it goes without saying that a card may be formed by an injection compression molding method for the purpose of improving the filling property of the resin, and after the injection or the injection compression, the molding resin 8 is cooled in the mold and the card 11 is formed.

Further, unlike the method of adhering with a pressure sensitive adhesive or the like, the reversible thermosensitive recording layer can be formed flush on the card by resin molding using a mold, so that the adhesiveness with the thermal head used for printing is good. The printing quality is improved, and it becomes possible to firmly adhere to the card without destroying the characteristics of cloudiness and transparency.

The card according to this comparative example was formed by depositing Al as a colored layer on a support made of a biaxially stretched PET film having a thickness of 38 μm by a vapor deposition method.
Was vapor-deposited to a thickness of 0.05 μm to form a colored layer. A reversible heat-sensitive coating material was applied thereon to a coating thickness of 10 μm at a drying temperature of 120 ° C. using a gravure coater to form a reversible heat-sensitive layer. A protective layer coating is applied on this with a coating thickness of 2.5 μm at a drying temperature of 120 ° C. to form a protective layer, and an adhesive layer coating is coated on the back surface of the support at a drying temperature of 110 ° C. A reversible heat-sensitive recording medium was formed by applying it to a thickness of 2.0 μm, and this medium was adhered to the entire surface of a PVC card by a thermal laminating method. Here, the same paint as in Example 1 was used for each constituent layer.

The card according to this comparative example was prepared by depositing Al as a colored layer on a support made of a biaxially stretched PET film having a thickness of 25 μm by a vapor deposition method.
It vapor-deposited to a thickness of 05 μm to form a colored layer. A reversible heat-sensitive paint is dried on this with a gravure coater at a drying temperature of 120.
A reversible heat-sensitive layer was formed by applying the coating solution at 10 ° C. to a coating thickness of 10 μm. Further, a reversible thermosensitive recording medium on which a protective layer was formed by applying a protective layer coating material at a drying temperature of 120 ° C. to a coating thickness of 2.5 μm using a gravure coater was partially adhered to a PVC card with an adhesive. . Here, for each of the constituent layers, the same paint as in Example 1 was used in the above-mentioned embodiment.

It became possible to provide the card firmly and flush with the surface of the card without any gap between the thermal recording layer. Further, by using the reversible thermosensitive recording medium, it becomes possible to prevent the card from warping as compared with a card injection-molded with a conventional base material. Further, when the reversible thermosensitive recording layer is provided on the card, it is possible to simultaneously provide characters and pictures. Further, since the reversible thermosensitive recording layer has a reversible thermosensitive recording layer formed on the support in advance, the surface is smooth and has good adhesion to the thermal head, and is affected by the heat of the melted molding resin. It was possible to mold on a card while maintaining the characteristics of cloudiness and transparency.
