Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.カテーテルのための先端部アセンブリであって、 外部の力に反応して湾曲可能であり、向かい合う端部を有する本体と、 カテーテル内に配置され、外部の制御による動きに反応して該本体に対して移 動可能な補強部材と、 カテーテル内に位置し、外部制御部材に加えられた力を変換して該補強部材に 移し、補強部材が該制御部材に加えられた力に反応して動くようにするための手 段と、 を備える、先端部アセンブリ。 2.前記本体に取り付けられ、曲げる力を該本体に加えるための操縦可能な手 段をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の先端部アセンブリ。 3.前記補強部材が、前記本体の遠位端から様々な異なった距離の間隔を有す る支柱を提供し、加えられた曲げる力に反応して該本体の曲率半径を変化させる 、請求項2に記載の先端部アセンブリ。 4.前記補強部材が、制御部材による外部操作により、遠位方向に伸長可能で あり、近位方向に引き込み可能であり、加えられた曲げる力に反応して該本体の 堅さを変化させる、請求項1または2に記載の先端部アセンブリ。 5.前記補強部材が、環状ソリッドスリーブを備える、請求項1に記載の先端 部アセンブリ。 6.前記補強部材が、ポリマー性材料または金属を含む、請求項5に記載の先 端部アセンブリ。 7.前記補強部材が、前記本体に対して軸方向に移動可能である、請求項1に 記載の先端部アセンブリ。 8.前記補強部材が、前記湾曲可能な本体に対して回転しながら移動可能であ る、請求項1に記載の先端部アセンブリ。 9.前記本体上に1つの電極をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の先端部アセン ブリ。 10.前記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の先端部アセンブリを担持する本体を 有するカテーテル。 11.前記カテーテル本体の長手方向に伸び、補強部材に取り付けられ、該補 強部材を近位または遠位方向に移動させる制御スタイレットをさらに備える、請 求項10に記載のカテーテル。 12.前記補強部材が、前記カテーテルの近位端上の制御ハンドル内にあるス ライド可能なレバーに加えられた動きに反応して移動可能である、請求項10に 記載のカテーテル。
