Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.突然変異微生物菌株の製造方法であって、スフィンゴシン、ジヒドロスフィ ンゴシン、フィトスフィンゴシン或いはそれらの誘導体から選ばれる所望の化合 物を天然に生成可能な親株を、十分な量の適切な変異源で処理して、同一条件下 で培養した場合に、前記親株と比較して、スフィンゴシン、ジヒドロスフィンゴ シン、フィトスフィンゴシン或いはそれらの誘導体を高い水準で生成可能な突然 変異菌株を得、次に、所望の化合物の向上した生産性を基礎として、前記変異株 を選択することを含む少なくとも一つの突然変異誘発処理を親株に施すことを特 徴とする、上記製造方法。 2.変異源が、紫外線照射、エチルメタンスルホネート或いはN-メチル-N'-ニト ロ-N- ニトロソグアニジンから選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法 。 3.親株が、スフィンゴシン、ジヒドロスフィンゴシン、フィトスフィンゴシン 、或いはそれらの誘導体から選ばれる所望の化合物を天然に生成可能な、酵母、 細菌類菌株及び真菌類菌株から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記 載の方法。 4.スフィンゴシン、ジヒドロスフィンゴシン、フィトスフィンゴシン或いはそ れらの誘導体から選ばれる所望の化合物を、同一条件下で培養した場合にその親 株と比較して、高い水準で生成可能な微生物突然変異株であって、請求項1−3 のいずれかに記載の方法で得ることができるものであることを特徴とする突然変 異菌株。 5.酵母菌株であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の微生物突然変異株。 6.ピチア(Pichia)属の種から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の微 生物突然変異株。 7.ピチア シフェーリ(Pichia ciferrii)種の菌株から選ばれることを特徴と する請求項6に記載の微生物菌株。 8.スフィンゴシン、ジヒドロスフィンゴシン、フィトスフィンゴシン或いはそ れらの誘導体から選ばれる所望の化合物を生成する方法であって、請求項4から 7のいずれか1項に記載の菌株を、前記所望の化合物の生成を促す条件下で 培養することを特徴とする上記方法。 9.スフィンゴシン、ジヒドロスフィンゴシン、フィトスフィンゴシン或いはそ れらの誘導体から選ばれる所望の化合物を生成する、請求項4から7のいずれか 1項に記載の菌株の使用。
