A magnetic flux is generated by energizing the magnetic flux, and a part of the magnetic flux is generated by steps 30, 32 as illustrated by a chain line L1 in FIG.
You will pass through. When the magnetic flux tries to pass through the conductors of the electrodes 20, 22 and the platings 26, 28, an eddy current flows. Therefore, the magnetic flux does not easily pass through the conductor. However, in this example, a magnetic path without a conductor is secured by the steps 30, 32, and the Q
Will be improved.

It can be set to an appropriate value corresponding to the coil diameter and the number of turns. For this reason, winding variation can be reduced.
The steps 30 and 32 are used for escape of the resin 24. Even if more resin 24 is attached than appropriate amount,
By escaping in the direction of the steps 30, 32, it is possible to secure a desired space in the resin portion or to secure a flat surface.

Figures (B) and (C) show the state during dip immersion. (B) shows a case where the core 46 having the tapered portion 44 is dipped relatively shallowly with respect to the dipping liquid 42,
(C) is a case where it is immersed relatively deeply. As is clear from the comparison, the presence of the tapered portion 44 makes the formed electrodes substantially the same, and reduces the variation.

As is clear from the comparison of FIGS. 9B and 9C, the presence of the tapered portion 44 makes it possible to obtain the structure shown in FIGS.
In either case, a magnetic flux path is ensured. on the other hand,
In the case where there is no taper as in (D) and (E), the electrode completely covers the flange as shown in (E) due to the dip immersion variation, and the passage of the magnetic flux is blocked.

(D) is a case where the entire flange portion 48 is not immersed in the dip liquid 42, and (E) is a case where the entire flange portion 48 is immersed in the dip liquid 42. In the case of (E), the core 50 may easily fall off from the carrier plate (not shown) due to the surface tension of the dip liquid 42. In addition, the variation in the electrodes is larger than that in the tapered shape. For this reason, the above-mentioned tapered flange is more advantageous. When the flange is tapered, the angle of the connecting portion between the electrode and the coil lead wire becomes dull, and disconnection at that portion is also prevented.

Spiral or concentric steps 52 and 54 are provided at the connection between the core 16 and the core 16. FIG. 7B shows the step 52 at an enlarged scale. The required number of turns is ensured by spirally winding the coil 18 along. Further, as shown in FIG. 3B, the height W4 of the step 52A is larger than the coil diameter. For this reason, as exemplified by the chain line L4, the magnetic flux passes through this portion, and a magnetic path is formed. Is to form the core portion 12A into a tapered shape,
It is an example of winding. According to this, as shown in FIG. 7B, the winding of the coil 18 is sparse at the large diameter portion of the core portion 12A, and the winding of the coil 18 is dense at the small diameter portion of the core portion 12A. For this reason, the magnetic flux leaks in the portion where the coil 18 is sparse, and the same effect as in the above embodiment can be obtained. FIG. 4C shows an example in which the core portion 12B is formed into a curved surface shape constricted at the center. In this case, (D)
As shown in the figure, the winding of the coil 18 becomes sparse at the large diameter portions at both ends of the core portion 12B, and the winding of the coil 18 becomes dense at the small diameter portion at the center of the core portion 12B. For this reason, the coil 18
The magnetic flux leaks at both ends where sparseness occurs, and the same effect as in the above embodiment can be obtained.

I have. These conductor foils 60 and 62 function as electrodes. According to this example, the magnetic flux passes as exemplified by the chain line L5 in the figure, and the magnetic path is secured by the nonmagnetic material (or the insulating layer) by the adhesives 56 and 58, so that Q is improved. In addition, you may make it cover a conductor cap instead of the conductor foils 60 and 62.

Of course, by providing the insulating layer 64 at the flange portions 14 and 16, the same effect as in the example of (A) can be obtained, but manufacturing is easier if the insulating layer 64 is provided over the entire core. In the example of (C), a suitable material is diffused on the surfaces of the flange portions 14 and 16 to form the nonmagnetic layer 66. Such a nonmagnetic layer 66 is also formed of the adhesives 56 and 58 and the insulating layer 6.
It works in the same way as 4 and can improve Q.

For example, even if it is made of Ag-Pd, Ru or the like,
The eddy current is less likely to flow and Q is improved. Further, the electrode itself may be formed of, for example, a conductive resin paste or a material having magnetism obtained by mixing Ag and ferrite (or iron powder) in the conductive resin paste. Because the electrodes are magnetic, the flow of magnetic flux is improved,
Q is improved.

The electrodes 70 and 72 are formed of Ag paste or the like on a part of the end surfaces of the flanges 14 and 16, and the lead wire of the coil 18 is connected around the flanges 14 and 16 (not shown). Alternatively, copper plates 74 and 76 may be attached as shown in FIG. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 3A, conductive resin pastes 78 and 80 are applied from the exterior resin 68 on the side surfaces of the flange portions 14 and 16 to the electrodes 70 and 72.

Then, the slits 82, 8 are formed in the conductive resin pastes 78, 80.
Since the number 4 is provided, the eddy current is cut off, the loss due to the closed loop current is reduced, and the Q is improved. In other words, an eddy current flows through the electrodes and the conductive resin due to the passage of the magnetic flux. This means that these conductors act in the same way as a kind of coil, and acts like a mutual inductance with the coil being the primary side and the conductor being the secondary side. However, if the eddy current is cut off by the slit, the effect of the mutual inductance is reduced, and the magnetic flux is easily passed and Q is improved.

There is also an advantage that there is little danger of being covered with the resin pastes 78 and 80 and exposed to the outside.

First, in the example of FIG. 10A, a convex portion 136 is formed on the end surface of the flange portion 134, and as shown in FIG. 10C, the electrode film is formed by dipping in a dipping liquid. Then, the convex portion 136
The electrode 138 is formed by removing the electrode film on the surface portion of. The main cross section is as shown in FIG.
FIGS. 3D to 3F correspond to the above-described (A) to (C), respectively, and show an example in which the electrode 140 is formed to the side surface of the flange portion 134 by immersing it relatively deeply in the dipping liquid 120. It is. In the example of FIG. 11G, the convex portion 142 is circular. In FIG. 7H, an electrode 146 is formed on the entire side surface and end surface of the flange portion 144 having no irregularities, and the exposed portion 148 is formed by removing the electrode 146 on a part of the end surface.
In any of the examples, the magnetic flux passes through the portion of the end face of the flange portion where there is no electrode, and the Q is improved.

Electrodes 152 are formed at the four corners of the flange except for these grooves 150. A cross-shaped slit 154 is formed on the end face of the flange 148 so as to connect the groove 150, and the center of the slit 154 has a circular shape so as to reduce the electrode area. According to this example, while the magnetic flux passes through the slit 154, the loss due to the closed loop current is reduced, and the Q is improved. The example shown in FIG. 7B is an example in which the slit 156 has a cross shape as compared with the example of FIG. The four electrodes 160 on the side surface of the flange portion are preferably electrically connected from the viewpoint of mounting. Therefore, if necessary, an electrode for connection is formed on the side surface of the flange portion or on the side surface. I do. The same applies to the electrode 162. In the example of (F), a porous electrode 164 is formed on the entire side surface and end surface of the flange portion 148. Since the magnetic flux passes through the hole of the electrode 164, Q is improved, and the function of releasing the magnetic flux and the function as the electrode can be used. Since there is a wide slit 167 across the flange portion 148, eddy current is cut off and a magnetic flux path is secured. In the example of FIG. 13B, a groove 150 for connecting a coil lead wire is formed on the side surface of the flange 148 in the example of FIG. In the example of FIG. 9C, a core electrode 168 is formed around the side and end faces of the flange 148, and a non-magnetic layer 170 made of an insulating material such as resin is formed at the center of the end face of the flange 148. For this reason, the cross-sectional area of the coil conductor 200 is not effectively utilized, and the resistance increases and Q decreases. However, as shown in FIG. 2B, if a large number of coil conductors 202 coated with the coating 201 are used in a bundle, the effective area through which current flows increases, the resistance decreases, and Q increases. . Further, since the coil conductor 202 is easily bent, there is an advantage that stress generated when the coil conductor 202 is wound around a small-diameter core portion or bent at an acute angle by a flange portion is small. In the example of FIG. 3C, the coil conductors 202 are arranged in a ribbon shape. In the example of FIG. 3D, the coil conductor 204 has a ribbon-shaped cross section.

For example, in the case of a bobbin shape as shown in FIG. 7B, the cross-sectional area of the central core portion 300 is small, so that the magnetic resistance increases, and the flow of the magnetic flux is hindered, so that Q decreases. Further, since the width of the flange 302 is small, the core 300
The magnetic flux inside passes through the electrode 304 formed on the flange 302, and generates an eddy current, which acts to reduce Q. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2A, the diameter (or width) D of the core portion 210 is
With respect to the length LA of the flange 212, a condition of 0.5LA ≦ D is satisfied. Also, the length LB of the core portion 210
To satisfy the condition of LA ≧ LB with respect to the length LA of the flange portion 212. It has been experimentally confirmed that by doing so, the magnetic resistance of the magnetic path is reduced and Q is improved. Also, the strength of the core is improved.

A magnetic flux path is formed around the flange or in the core area by steps or insulating layers, or a part of the electrodes is removed to form a magnetic flux path. Q can be improved without any problem. In addition, since the eddy current is cut off by forming a slit in the electrode and the shape of the coil and the winding core is devised, the Q also increases. Further, since a good Q is obtained, a filter circuit requiring a steep frequency characteristic can be configured.
