Claims (1)
- メタノール及び硫化水素から成る出発物質気体混合物を蒸気相中で反応温度３００〜５００℃で作業圧力５〜１５バールで、酸化アルミニウムを基礎とする触媒床に接して反応させ、引き続きメチルメルカプタンを生成物気体混合物から吸着及び蒸留により分離し、使用されなかったメタノール及び硫化水素を循環させ、不活性気体及び廃水を除去し、使用したメタノール及び硫化水素を補充することによってメチルメルカプタンを連続的に製造するに当たり、出発物質気体混合物を下記方法：
ａ）硫化水素−新製気体を液体メタノールの添加下で中間圧まで圧縮し、
ｂ）循環させた硫化水素気体を新製気体と混合し、混合物を作業圧まで圧縮し、ｃ）更なるメタノールをメタノール蒸気の形で圧縮気体混合物に供給してメタノールに対する硫化水素のモル比１．１〜３を有する出発物質気体混合物を生じさせ、
ｄ）出発物質気体混合物を１５０〜２００℃の予熱温度まで加熱し、
ｅ）更に出発物質気体混合物を、触媒床の所で発生する反応熱と熱交換して反応温度まで加熱し、
ｆ）メタノール及び硫化水素を触媒床に接して反応させてメチルメルカプタンにする：によって得ることを特徴とする、メチルメルカプタンの連続的製法。
