カバー体は起立壁の外周の上ぶちにこれまでのような直
角なふちを持たないため、組付け時における締め付け力
や使用時における流体の内圧によって、カバー体が変形
したにしてもケース本体を傷付けることはない。そし
て、カバー体の起立壁上に圧着させるケース本体の開放
端縁部分を起立壁より内側に張出させ、その下側内周部
を弧状にカールさせれば、パッキング材の抜け止めと傷
付け防止の効果が向上し、又張出し部分を斜め下向きに
曲げれば、カバー体及びフィルタエレメントの抑止がよ
り強固になり、ケース本体の耐久性を向上させることが
できる。更にカバー体の起立壁の内周の上ぶちに複数の
局所凹所を形成し、ケース本体周壁の開放端縁部分をそ
れらの凹所にくい込むように圧着すれば、ケース本体と
カバー体間の取付けが強化され、両者の相対的な回動を
確実に防ぐことができる。

ける液体フィルタにおいて、カバー体の起立壁外周の上
ぶちを弧状又は端面と外周面に鈍角に交わる斜面に形成
し、その起立壁の端面上にケース本体の周壁の開放端縁
部分を二枚重ねに巻き締めて端面幅に合せて圧着したこ
とを特徴とするエンジン用カートリッジ式の液体フィル
タ。
