Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 屈曲可能な軟質部は厚さ比率
を高くした軟質樹脂層に厚さ比率は低いとはいえ硬質樹
脂層が積層されているため、軟質樹脂の柔軟性が硬質樹
脂の存在により悪影響を受け阻害される結果となり、金
属管等の他物との嵌合特性を劣化する。 【解決手段】 軟質樹脂と硬質樹脂が複合さ
れた一本の多層パリソンをブロー成形してなるホース
を、軟質樹脂層または硬質樹脂層のいずれか一方により
形成される単層部と、軟質樹脂層と硬質樹脂層が積層さ
れた複層部とで構成し、この複層部は単層部を形成する
樹脂層が他の樹脂層より薄肉に形成されている。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、例えば自動車エン
ジンの吸気系のダクトとして用いられる合成樹脂ブロー
成形ホースに関するものである。
【0002】
【従来の技術】この種の合成樹脂製ブロー成形ホースと
しては、特開平8−14445号公報に記載されたブロ
ー成形管がある。
【0003】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記従来のものにおい
ては、軟質合成樹脂層と硬質合成樹脂層からなる積層構
造のパリソンからブロー成形し、軟質合成樹脂層と硬質
合成樹脂層の厚さの比率を部分的に変更して、屈曲可能
な軟質部と形状を保持する剛性部を長さ方向に交互に形
成するものである。
【0004】しかしながら、屈曲可能な軟質部を例えば
ダクト端部の他物とのジョイント部において形成した場
合、厚さ比率を高くした軟質樹脂層に厚さ比率は低いと
はいえ硬質樹脂層が積層されているため、軟質樹脂の柔
軟性が硬質樹脂の存在により悪影響を受け阻害される結
果となり、金属管等の他物との嵌合特性を劣化する問題
があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、上記の課題を
解決するために、下記の構成を有するものである。
【0006】(1)軟質樹脂と硬質樹脂が複合された一
本の多層パリソンをブロー成形してなるホースであっ
て、軟質樹脂層または硬質樹脂層のいずれか一方により
形成される単層部と、軟質樹脂層と硬質樹脂層が積層さ
れた複層部とを有し、この複層部は単層部を形成する樹
脂層が他の樹脂層より薄肉に形成されていることを特徴
とする合成樹脂ブロー成形ホース。
【0007】(2)単層部が軟質樹脂層により形成され
るとともにこの単層部がホース端部の連結部を構成して
いる上記(1)に記載の合成樹脂ブロー成形ホース。
【0008】本発明においては、例えば軟質樹脂層のみ
からなる単層部を備えているので硬質樹脂の悪影響を受
けることなく、ホースの屈曲部となる蛇腹部やホ−ス端
部の連結部を単層部として、柔軟性に富んだ蛇腹部や連
結部が形成できる。
【0009】また、本発明は基本的に多層パリソンから
形成されているので、従来より公知の多層ブロー成形機
を使用して成形でき、基本的に単層のパリソンを形成す
るために必要とされる例えば特開平5−245912号
公報に記載されたシャットオフバルブ等の樹脂の完全切
替機構といった複雑な装置を必要としない。

【実施例】図1は本発明の一実施例を示す合成樹脂ブロ
ー成形ホース1の一部断面正面図であり、軟質合成樹脂
層2(例えばLDPE樹脂や熱可塑性エラストマー(T
PE))のみからなる単層部3と硬質合成樹脂層4(例
えばHDPE樹脂やポリプロピレン(PP))と軟質合
成樹脂層2が積層された複層部5がホースの長さ方向に
沿って交互に一体に連接された単一の多層パリソンがブ
ロー成形されたもので、複層部5においては硬質合成樹
脂層4の厚さの比率を軟質合成樹脂層2より高く形成し
てある。
【0011】本発明では、上記実施例に限らず、単層部
を蛇腹構造としたり、端部の他物との連結部に形成して
もよいほか、ホースを3次元的に屈曲させた形状に形成
してもよい。また、上記実施例とは逆に、単層部を硬質
合成樹脂層のみで形成し、かつ、複層部において軟質合
成樹脂層の厚さの比率を硬質合成樹脂層より高く形成し
た構造のホースとしてもよい。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、多層パリソンから一体
成形されたブロー成形ホースでありながら、屈曲柔軟性
を有する部分と剛性の高い保形補強作用をする部分とを
両立させて形成することができ、ホース両端の連結部に
おいて、十分なシール性を確保することもできるもので
ある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 軟質樹脂と硬質樹脂が複合された一本の
    多層パリソンをブロー成形してなるホースであって、軟
    質樹脂層または硬質樹脂層のいずれか一方により形成さ
    れる単層部と、軟質樹脂層と硬質樹脂層が積層された複
    層部とを有し、この複層部は単層部を形成する樹脂層が
    他の樹脂層より薄肉に形成されていることを特徴とする
    合成樹脂ブロー成形ホース。
  2. 【請求項2】 単層部が軟質樹脂層により形成されると
    ともにこの単層部がホース端部の連結部を構成している
    請求項1に記載の合成樹脂ブロー成形ホース。
