Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.金属表面に、金属酸化物のセル構造の生長を誘導させる為、酸化剤含有酸性 溶液にその金属を接触させること、 その酸化物を厚さを増加させて、望みの厚さを持つ金属酸化物含有層を形成さ せるために十分な時間その金属を水に接触させること、及び、 その金属酸化物に1又は2以上の稀土類元素を含浸させて実質的にシールする ために、前記金属を一種以上の稀土類元素で処理すること、 の各工程を含む、金属表面用化成被層の形成方法。 2.前記金属が、アルミニウム、或いはアルミニウム含有合金である請求項1記 載の方法。 3.前記酸化剤が、ハロゲン酸化金属塩(metal halate)、過硫酸金属塩、硝酸塩 、H2O2、或いは(NH4)2Ce(NO3)6である請求項1又は2記載の方法。 4.前記ハロゲン化金属塩が、NaBrO3、KBrO3、及びKClO3より選ばれ る請求項3記載の方法。 5.前記酸化剤が、NaBrO3である請求項1から4のいずれかの項に記載の方 法。 6.前記酸性溶液が、HNO3を含んでいる請求項1から4のいずれかの項に記 載の方法。 7.前記HNO3の濃度が、1.6モル以下である請求項6記載の方法。 8.前記酸性溶液中の前記酸化剤の濃度が、10wt%(0.67M)以下である請求項1 から7のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 9.前記酸性溶液中の前記酸化剤の濃度が、0.2M以下である請求項1から7の いずれかの項に記載の方法。 10.前記酸性溶液のpHが、1未満である請求項1から9のいずれかの項に記載 の方法。 11.前記酸性溶液のpHが、0.5未満である請求項1から9のいずれかの項に記 載の方法。 12.前記酸性溶液の温度が、50℃以下である請求項1から11のいずれかの項 に記載の方法。 13.前記酸性溶液の温度が、10℃から30℃の様な周囲温度である請求項1から11 のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 14.金属表面を、脱酸素化溶液で処理するステップをさらに含む請求項1から13 のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 15.前記脱酸素化溶液が、一種以上の稀土類イオンを含んでいる請求項14記載の 方法。 16.前記脱酸素化溶液が、水酸化セリウム(IV)、硫酸セリウム(IV)、或いは硫酸 セリウム(IV)アンモニウムの鉱酸溶液である請求項15記載の方法。 17.前記脱酸素化溶液が、硫酸セリウム(IV)の硫酸、及び硝酸溶液である請求項 16記載の方法。 18.脱酸素化溶液で処理するステップが、金属を前記酸性溶液に触れさせるステ ップの前にある、請求項14から17のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 19.酸化剤含有酸性溶液と脱酸素化溶液とを混ぜて1つにした溶液に、前記金属 表面を触れさせる事により、金属表面の脱酸素化ステップと、酸性溶液に金属を 触れさせるステップとが同時に行われる、請求項14から17のいずれかの項に記載 の方法。 20.金属を水に接触させるステップが、脱イオン水及び/或いは蒸留水との接触 である、請求項1から19のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 21.前記水の温度が、85℃から90℃である請求項1から20のいずれかの項に記載 の方法。 22.前記水が界面活性剤を含んでいる請求項1から21のいずれかの項に記載の方 法。 23.前記水がさらに一種以上の添加剤を含み、その添加剤が、硝酸カリウムのよ うな硝酸塩化合物、硫酸セリウム(III)八水和物、アンモニアの溶液、NH4OA c、NH4NO3、(NH4)2CO3、NH4OHのようなアンモニウムの塩、及び炭 酸ナトリウムより選ばれる、請求項1から22のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 24.前記一種以上の添加剤に、NH4OHが含まれる請求項23記載の方法。 25.前記稀土類元素が、水に溶けたCe(NO3)3・6H2O、Ce2(SO4)3・8H2O 、 及びPr(NO3)3・6H2Oから選ばれた、水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液として用 いられる、請求項1から24のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 26.金属を水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液と処理することにより、酸化物の厚さ 増加ステップと稀土類元素の含浸ステップとを、実質上同時に行う方法で、そこ では水性成分が金属酸化物層の厚さの増加に必要な水を供給し、稀土類イオンが その金属酸化物を含浸する、請求項25記載の方法。 27.前記稀土類塩がCe(NO3)3・6H2Oである請求項25或いは26記載の方法。 28.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液中の前記稀土類塩濃度が、50g/l(0.12モル) 以下である請求項25から27のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 29.水溶性の稀土類元素イオン含有溶液中の前記稀土類塩濃度が、0.1g/lから40 g/l(2.3×10-4から0.09モル)である請求項25から27のいずれかの項に記載の方 法。 30.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液のpHが酸性から中性である、請求項25から 29のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 31.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液のpHが3から5.5である、請求項25から30 のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 32.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液のpHが4から5である、請求項25から30の いずれかの項に記載の方法。 33.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液の温度が70℃から100℃である、請求項25か ら31のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 34.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液の温度が85℃から100℃である、請求項25か ら31のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 35.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液の温度が85℃から90℃である、請求項25から 31のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 36.水溶性の稀土類イオン含有溶液が、硝酸イオン、フッ素イオン、及び界面活 性剤から選んだ成分を一種以上さらに含んでいる、請求項25から35のいずれかの 項に記載の方法。 37.水溶性の稀土類元素含有溶液が、KNO3、LiNO3、NH4NO3、或いは それらの組合わせとして、硝酸イオンをさらに含んでいる、請求項25から35 のいずれかの項に記載の方法。 38.硝酸イオンの濃度が、2.0 モル以下である請求項36から37のいずれかの項に 記載の方法。 39.稀土類を含浸させた酸化物層上に表層を形成するために、金属をシール溶液 と処理するステップをさらに含んでいる請求項1から38のいずれかの項に記載の 方法。 40.前記シール溶液が無機のシール溶液である、請求項39記載の方法。 41.前記シール溶液が酸化剤を含んでいる、請求項39或いは40記載の方法。 42.前記シール溶液がアルカリ金属を基材とする溶液である請求項39或いは40記 載の方法。 43.前記シール溶液が珪酸カリウム溶液である請求項42記載の方法。 44.各ステップの後に、水ですすぐステップを含む請求項1から43のいずれかの 項に記載の方法。 45.(a) 金属表面に、金属酸化物のセル構造の生長を誘導させるに、酸化剤含 有酸性溶液にその金属を接触させること、 (b) その酸化物を増粘して、望みの厚さを持つ金属酸化物含有層を形成さ せるのに十分な時間、その金属を水と接触させること、及び、 (c) その金属酸化物含有層を含浸させて、実質的にシールする為、その金 属を水性の稀土類元素含有溶液と接触させること、 の各工程を含む、金属表面用化成被層の形成方法。 46.請求項1から45のいずれかの項に記載の方法で形成された加工被覆金属。 47.その化成被層が、一種以上の稀土類元素で含浸された金属酸化物含有層を含 んでいる加工被覆金属。 48.前記金属がアルミニウム含有金属である請求項46或いは47記載の加工被覆金 属。 49.前記金属酸化物が、この中で定義されているようなアルミニウム酸化物であ る請求項47記載の加工被覆金属。 50.請求項25から45のいずれかの項に記載の方法で用いられている、水溶性の稀 土類イオン含有溶液で、それが、金属表面に形成された金属酸化物含有層を 含浸し、実質上シールするのに十分な量の稀土類を含んでいる溶液。 51.請求項1に従って金属表面に化成被層を形成する方法で、実施例のいずれか 1つと実質的に関連してここに記載されている方法。 52.請求項45に従って金属表面に化成被層を形成する方法で、実施例のいずれか 1つと実質的に関連してここに記載されている方法。 53.実施例のいずれか1つと実質的に関連してここに記載されている請求項46記 載の加工被覆金属。 54.実施例のいずれか1つと実質的に関連してここに記載されている請求項47記 載の加工被覆金属。 55.実施例のいずれか1つと実質的に関連してここに記載されている請求項49記 載の水溶性稀土類イオン含有溶液。 56.添付の図面である図1から5と実質的に関連してここに記載されている請求 項46記載の加工被覆金属。 57.添付の図面である図1から5と実質的に関連してここに記載されている請求 項47記載の加工被覆金属。
