Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.励起光の入力結合のための格子が具備されており、かつ基材(a)の屈折率 が導波層(b)の屈折率よりも低い、薄く透明な導波層(b)が施された透明な 基材(a)からなる平面の誘電体光センサー載台を用い、液体試料を該層(b) と接触させ、試料中の発光特性を有する物質によるか又は該層(b)上に固定さ れた発光特性を有する物質により生成された発光を、電気光学的に測定すること により検出するための方法であって、 (A)該励起光が平面型導波路の中に結合し、かつ導波層を横断し、それによ り発光特性を有する物質が導波層の漸減場中で励起して発光し、 (B)該回折格子は3〜60nmの深さ変調を有し、 (C)該層(b)の厚みが40〜160nmであり、そして (D)該層(b)の厚みに対する該深さ変調の比が0.5より小さい、 ことを特徴とする方法。 2.該基材が、水晶、無機ガラス又はプラスチック材料で構成されている、請求 項1記載の方法。 3.該基材が、無機ガラスからなる、請求項1記載の方法。 4.該基材が、ポリカーボネート又はポリメタクリル酸メチルからなる、請求項 1記載の方法。 5.SiO2又は熱可塑性、熱硬化性若しくは構造的に架橋されたプラスチック からなる中間層が基材と導波層の間に具備され、この中間層が基材のものより小 さいか又は等しい屈折率を有する、請求項1記載の方法。 6.該中間層が、10μm 未満の厚みを有する、請求項5記載の方法。 7.発光を励起するために実質的に平行な光が、使用される、請求項1記 載の方法。 8.発光を励起するために、波長300〜1,100nmのレーザー光が、使用さ れる、請求項1記載の方法。 9.発光を励起させるために、波長450〜850nmのレーザー光が、使用され る、請求項1記載の方法。 10.発光を励起させるために、波長480〜700nmのレーザー光が、使用さ れる、請求項1記載の方法。 11.該平面の透明な導波層が、2より大きい屈折率を有する材料からなる、請 求項1記載の方法。 12.該平面の透明な導波層が、Ta2O5又はTiO2からなる、請求項1記載 の方法。 13.該平面の透明な導波層が、80nm〜160nmの厚みを有する、請求項1記 載の方法。 14.励起光の入力結合のための該回折格子が、光学屈折回折格子である、請求 項1記載の方法。 15.該光学屈折回折格子が、レリーフ回折格子である、請求項14記載の方法 。 16.該回折格子が、正弦、のこぎり波形又は矩形曲線の形状を有する、請求項 14記載の方法。 17.該回折格子が、200〜1,000nmの回折格子周期を有する、請求項1 4記載の方法。 18.該回折格子が、5〜30nmの深さ変調を有する、請求項14記載の方法。 19.該回折格子が、0.5〜2の線対空間の比を有する、請求項14記載の方 法。 20.接着促進層が、導波層と試料の間に存在する、請求項1記載の方法。 21.該接着促進層が、50nm未満の厚みを有する、請求項20記載の方法。 22.分析対象物を検出するために用いられる発光しうる物質が、導波層の表面 上に直接固定されている、請求項1項記載の方法。 23.部分的工程の1つにおいて分析対象物が結合状態になる過程での多工程方 式測定において、センサー載台の表面上に結合パートナーの1つのためか又は分 析対象物自体のための、化学的又は生化学的検出物質としての特定の結合パート ナーを固定する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 24.センサー載台が再生可能であり、繰り返し使用ができる、請求項1記載の 方法。 25.等方的に放出された漸減励起発光を測定する工程を含む、請求項1記載の 方法。 26.センサー載台の端部において、該センサー載台中で戻り結合された漸減励 起発光を測定する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。 27.等方的に放出された発光及び戻り結合された漸減励起光を、互いに独立し て、しかし同時に測定する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。 28.導波路中に結合された励起光の吸収を同時に測定する工程を含む、請求項 1記載の方法。 29.該励起光が、連続波(CW)モードで導波路内に結合される、請求項1記 載の方法。 30.調時パルスの形で励起光を入力結合し、次いで時間分解された発光を測定 する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。 31.パルス長さが、1ピコ秒から100秒までに調整される、請求項30記載 の方法。 32.1つ又は2つ以上の周波数において変調された強度を有する励起光を入力 結合する工程、次いで試料発光の結果として得られた相移動及び変調を測定する 工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。 33.検出されるべき試料が、卵黄、血液、血清、血漿又は尿である、請求項1 記載の方法。 34.検出されるべき試料が、表面水、土壌又は植物エキス、生物加工ブロス又 は合成ブロスである、請求項1記載の方法。 35.親和性検知における生化学物質の定量的測定ための、請求項1記載の方法 の使用。 36.抗体又は抗原の定量的測定のための、請求項1記載の方法の使用。 37.レセプタ又はリガンド、オリゴヌクレオチド、DNA又はRNA鎖、DN A又はRNAの類似体、酵素、酵素基質、酵素補助因子又は阻害物質、レクチン 及び炭水化物の定量的測定のための、請求項1記載の方法の使用。 38.光学的に濁った流体の中の発光成分の定量的測定のための、請求項1項記 載の方法の使用。
