Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.SiO2、Al2O3、Fe2O3、TiO2、CaO、MgO、K2O、Na2Oおよ び酸化ビスマスの合計重量を基準に、9〜55重量%のSiO2、36〜87重量 %のAl2O3、0〜2.0重量%のFe2O3、0〜1.0重量%のTiO2、0〜0. 5重量%のCaO、0〜0.5重量%のMgO、1.0〜4.0重量%のK2OとNa2 Oの混合物、および0.25〜25.0重量%の酸化ビスマスを含有する磁器。 2.実質的に、SiO2、Al2O3、Fe2O3、TiO2、CaO、MgO、K2O、 Na2Oおよび酸化ビスマスからなる請求項1に記載の磁器。 3.2000kg/cm2を越える素焼曲げ強度を有する請求項1に記載の磁器。 4.2800kg/cm2を越える素焼曲げ強度を有する請求項1に記載の磁器。 5.以下の工程からなる磁器の製造方法: (a)アルミナ、粘土および融剤原料の混合重量を基準に、(i)5〜80重量%の アルミナ、(ii)10〜80重量%の粘土、(iii)9〜25重量%の融剤原料であ って、ビスマス含有の融剤原料、ビスマス不含の融剤原料およびこれらの混合物 からなる群から選択され、ビスマス含有の融剤原料の量が少なくとも0.2重量 %である融剤原料、からなる混合物を生成させ; (b)該混合物を成形物品に形状化し;そして (c)該成形物品を焼成して該混合物を磁器に変換する。 6.ビスマス含有の融剤原料が、次炭酸ビスマス、次硝酸ビスマス、オキシ塩 化ビスマス、硝酸ビスマス、塩化ビスマス、硫酸ビスマス、シュウ酸ビスマス、 および水酸化ビスマスからなる群から選択される請求項5に記載の方法。 7.ビスマス含有の融剤原料が次炭酸ビスマスである請求項6に記載の方法。 8.ビスマス不含の融剤原料が長石またはカスミ石閃長岩である請求項5に記 載の方法。 9.成形物品が1100〜1300℃の温度で焼成される請求項5に記載の方 法。 10.粘土が陶土、ベントナイト、ボールクレーまたはこれらの混合物である請 求項5に記載の方法。 11.粘土がボールクレーと陶土の混合物である請求項10に記載の方法。 12.工程(a)において、初めにアルミナと融剤原料を一緒にミル処理し、次い で粘土を加え、さらにミル処理することによって混合物を生成させる請求項5に 記載の方法。 13.アルミナがコランダムである請求項5に記載の方法。
