Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.連続する液相重合と気相重合とからなるマルチステージ反応シーケンスにお いて、エチレン重合触媒と助触媒の触媒システムの存在下でポリエチレン組成物 を製造するプロセスであって、該プロセスは少なくとも一つの連続した反応シー ケンスからなり、このシーケンスにおける第1ステップにおいては、ループリア クターにおいてエテレンならびにオプショナルの水素及びコモノマーがエチレン 重合触媒と助触媒との存在下で低沸点炭化水素媒体内で重合され、この際の滞留 時間と反応温度とは、該リアクターにおいて前記プロセスのエンドプロダクトか ら作られるエチレンポリマーの比率が1〜20重量%になるようなものであり、 第1ステップから取り出された反応混合体をエチレン、水素およびオプショナル の不活性炭化水素、コモノマーおよび触媒を添加してループリアクターで重合を 継続する第2ステップへ移し、この際の滞留時間を少なくとも10分間とし、反 応混合体を前記ループリアクターから取り出し、該反応媒体の少なくともエッセ ンシャルの部分をリムーブし、添加されたエチレン及びオプショナルの水素、コ モノマーおよび助触媒の存在のもとに気相リアクター内で重合を行う第3ステッ プへポリマーを移すことを特徴とするプロセス。 2.前記触媒を前記第1重合ステップへのみ供給し、助触媒を前記第1重合ステ ップへ供給し、そして、オプショナルに第2および/または第3ステップのルー プリアクターおよび/または気相リアクターへ供給することを特徴とする請求項 1によるプロセス。 3.前記第1重合ステップのループリアクターにおいて、作られたポリマーのメ ルトインデックスが後続のステップの重合リアクターのループリアクターで作ら れるポリマーのメルトインデックスよりも低いことを特徴とする請求項1または 2によるプロセス。 4.第1重合ステップにおける重合条件を、作られるエチレンポリマーのメルト インデックスMFR2が0.01〜50の間になるように選択し、第2重合ステップの重合 条件を、エチレンポリマーフラクションのメルトインデックスMFR2が10〜2000の 間になるように選択することを特徴とする請求項3によるプロセス。 5.第1重合ステップにおいて作られるエチレンポリマーの分子量と、前記第3 重合ステップから取り出されるエンドプロダクトの分子量との関係が0.25〜5の 間にあることを特徴とする前記請求項のいづれかによるプロセス。 6.前記第1重合ステップのループリアクターにおける反応温度が20℃〜100℃ 、好ましくは、40℃〜80℃の間であって、滞留時間が10分〜2時間の間であるこ とを特徴とする前記請求項のいづれかによるプロセス。 7.前記ループリアクターにおける不活性炭化水素としてプロパンを使用し、第 2ステップのループリアクターにおける反応圧力と反応温度とを、不活性炭化水 素、モノマーおよび水素によって形成される反応流体が臨界状態になるように選 択することを特徴とする前記請求項のいづれかによるプロセス。 8.第1重合ステップのループリアクターにおいて、分子量が150,000 〜600,00 0 および密度が940 〜970 kg/m3であるポリエチレンが作られ、第2重合ステッ プのループリアクターにおいて、分子量が500 〜50,000であり、密度が950 〜98 0 kgh/m3のエチレンポリマーが作られることを特徴とする前記請求項のいづれか によるプロセス。 9.第1重合ステップのループリアクターにおいて、分子量が400,000 以下のエ チレンポリマーが作られることを特徴とする請求項3によるプロセス。 10.第1重合ステップにおいて、ループリアクターにおいて作られるプロダ クトの密度が910〜950 kg/m3の間になるような量のC4−C8アルファオレフィン 類をコモノマーとしてループリアクターへ供給することを特徴とする請求項1か ら請求項7のいづれかによるプロセス。 11.コモノマーは、1-ブテン、1-ヘキセン、1-メチル-1-ペンテン、1-オクテ ンまたは、これらの混合体のグループから選ばれることを特徴とする請求項10 によるプロセス。 12.C4−C8アルファオレフィン類は、第3重合ステップの気相リアクターへ コモノマーとして供給される前記請求項のいづれかによるプロセス。 13.プロパンは、ミキサーを介して、液体または気体または両者の状態で気相 リアクターへ供給されることを特徴とする前記請求項のいづれかによるプロセス 。
