Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.フルオロポリマーと熱可塑性ポリマーの配合物を含む物品であって、各ポ リマーは連続的構造を有し、前記構造は互いに絡み合い、前記ポリマーの少なく とも一方は微細多孔質である物品。 2.各構造が網状構造の形態であり、前記網状構造が互いに絡みあった請求項 1に記載の物品。 3.双方のポリマーが微細多孔質である請求項1又は2に記載の物品。 4.フィルム、膜、チューブ、中空繊維、繊維、及びガスケットからなる群よ り選択された形態である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の物品。 5.フルオロポリマーが微細多孔質の延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレン( ePTFE)を含んでなる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の物品。 6.フルオロポリマーが改質ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含んでなる請求項 1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の物品。 7.フルオロポリマーが、延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレンと溶融状態で 加工できるフルオロポリマーの配合物である請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載 の物品。 8.溶融状態で加工できるフルオロポリマーが、Teflon FEP(ヘキ サフルオロプロピレン/テトラフルオロエチレンコポリマー)、又はTeflo n PFA(ペルフルオロアルキルビルニエーテル/テトラフルオロエチレンコ ポリマー)である請求項7に記載の物品。 9.熱可塑性ポリマーが、 ポリオレフィン、 脂肪族と芳香族のポリアミド、 脂肪族と芳香族のポリエステル、 ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリフェニルオキシド、ポリイ ミド、 主鎖又は側鎖に中間生成構造(mesogenic structure)を有する液晶ポ リマー、 ポリカーボネート、ポリアクリロニトリル、及びポリスチレン、 ポリメタクリレート、ポリアクリレート、ポリ塩化ビニル、及びポリ塩 化ビニリデン、 ポリアリールエーテルケトン、 及びこれらの部類の材料のコポリマー、 並びに溶融状態で加工できるフルオロポリマーコポリマー、 からなる群より選択された請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の物品。 10.熱可塑性ポリマーがポリ(エーテル−エーテル−ケトン)(PEEK) である請求項9に記載の物品。 11.熱可塑性ポリマーが超高分子量ポリエチレンである請求項9に記載の物 品。 12.熱可塑性ポリマーがTHV(ポリ(テトラフルオロエチレン−コ−ヘキ サフルオロプロピレン−コ−ビニリデンフルオリド))である請求項9に記載の 物品。 13.熱可塑性ポリマーの重量割合が20〜90重量%、好ましくは30〜7 0重量%である請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の物品。 14.その物品が、100kGy以下の高エネルギー放射線に対 して抵抗性のある請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の物品。 15.a)フルオロポリマーと熱可塑性ポリマーを含む水系ディスパージョン を共凝固し、 b)工程a)で得られた材料を乾燥し、潤滑剤を混合し、ペースト押出 し、 c)その押出物を、熱可塑性ポリマーの分解温度よりも低いがガラス転 移点よりも高い温度で圧延し、 d)工程c)の前又は後で潤滑剤を除去し、 e)工程d)の材料を、熱可塑性ポリマーのガラス転移点より高い温度 で、加熱ロールの上又は高温空気流の中を通すことによって、その材料を伸長す る、 各工程を含む、フルオロポリマーと熱可塑性ポリマーの配合物から材料 を製造する方法。 16.その材料を最終工程e)の後に圧密化する請求項15に記載の方法。
