Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.フィブリルによって相互に接続された一連の結節から本質的になる内部微 細構造を有し、前記結節は、ほぼ平行に配列し、高度に細長く、25:1以上のア スペクト比を有する微細多孔質ポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品。 2.結節のアスペクト比が50:1以上である請求項1に記載の微細多孔質ポリ テトラフルオロエチレン物品。 3.その物品が、フレイジャー数(水柱0.5 インチの圧力差でサンプル1平方 フィートあたりの立方フィート/分)とボール破裂値(ポンド)の積が60以上で あるようなフレイジャー数の空気流れとボール破裂強度値を有する、請求項1に 記載の微細多孔質ポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品。 4.その物品がフレイジャー数(水柱0.5 インチの圧力差でサンプル1平方フ ィートあたりの立方フィート/分)とボール破裂値(ポンド)の積が100 以上で あるようなフレイジャー数の空気流れとボール破裂強度値を有する請求項1に記 載の微細多孔質ポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品。 5.結節のアスペクト比が150 を上回る請求項1に記載の微細多孔質ポリテト ラフルオロエチレン物品。 6.ポリテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂が、非類似のポリテトラフルオロエチレ ンポリマーの配合物である請求項1に記載の物品。 7.ポリテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンホモポ リマーと改質ポリテトラフルオロエチレンポリマーの配合物である請求項1に記 載の物品。 8.膜又はチューブの形状の請求項1に記載の微細多孔質ポリテトラフルオロ エチレン物品。 9.膜又はチューブの2つの表面の結節とフィブリルの微細構造が異なるとい った点で不均整である請求項8に記載の微細多孔質ポリテトラフルオロエチレン 物品。 10.フィラーを含む請求項1に記載のポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品。 11.5〜500ナノメートルの平均サイズのフィラー粒子を含む請求項1に記載 のポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品。 12.無機フィラーから選択されたフィラーを含む請求項1に記載のポリテトラ フルオロエチレン物品。 13.無機フィラーを含む請求項11に記載のポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品。 14.(a) 少なくとも1種のポリテトラフルオロエチレンのファインパウダー樹 脂を潤滑してペースト押出に供し、テープ押出物を作成し、 (b) 潤滑剤を除去し、 (c) 最も低い結晶融点のポリテトラフルオロエチレン成分の結晶融点を下 回る温度でその押出物を少なくとも一軸に伸長し、 (d) 最も高い結晶融点のポリテトラフルオロエチレン成分の結晶融点を上 回る温度までそのテープの温度を高めることによって、その伸長されたテープを アモルファス固定し、 (e) 最も高い結晶融点のポリテトラフルオロエチレン成分の結晶融点を上 回る温度で、少なくとも、最大の元の伸長方向に直角な方向に伸長する、 各工程を順次に含む多孔質ポリテトラフルオロエチレン物品の製造方法。
