Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain fivers with improved permeability and mechanical properties (especially tensile strength) by crosslinking hollow fibers based on polyvinyl alcohol with a compound having two or more aldehyde groups in the presence of a reaction medium, and treating them with hot water.
