Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a chlorine-containing thermoplastic resin composition and its molded article, having excellent metallic luster and discoloration resistance, by adding metal powder, and a white pigment or a transparent white pigment to a chlrine-containing thermoplastic resin.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of a chlorine- containing thermoplastic resin, e.g. vinyl chloride homo- or co-polymr, vinylidene chloride homo-or co-polymer, etc., (B) 0.5W8 parts by weight, pref. 1W5 parts by weight of metal powder pref. aluminum flake or brass powder, and (C) 1W30 parts, pref. 5W15 parts by weight, based on 100 parts of the (B) component, of one or more inorganic pigments selected from white pigments and transparent white pigments, e.g. barium sulfate, aluminum oxide, etc.
