Abstract
PURPOSE:To considerably increase the magnetic flux density of a silicon steel contg. Si and acid sol. Al by rapidly heating the steel in a temp. range below 900 deg.C and slowly heating it in a temp. range below 1,050 deg.C to carry out finish annealing. CONSTITUTION:A silicon steel ingot contg. Si; 2.5-4%, acid sol. Al; 0.01-0.05%, C; 0.025-0.085% Mn; 0.02-0.2% and S; 0.005-0.05% is hot rolled to a sheet by a known method. This hot rolled sheet is heated at an average rate of 15-100, pref. 20-60 deg C/hr in the temp. range of 700-900, esp. 800-900 deg.C in the heating process of finish annealing, and it is slowly heated from an optional temp. within 900- 1,000 deg.C to a temp. where more than 50% of secondary recrystallization proceeds, pref. to 1,050 deg.C. After the secondary recrystallization proceeds well, the sheet is purification annealed at a temp. above 1,100, pref. 1,150 deg.C. Thus, the normal grain growth control effect of AlN is shown to the utmost limit to furhter enhance the GOSS structure of high integration degree, and hence the magnetic flux density can be increased condiderably.
