Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve storage stability of the mixture of an acid anydride curing agent and a tertiary amine curing accelerator, by adding a specific amount of water or an alcohol to the mixture thereby suppressing decomposition of the acid anhydrid e.
CONSTITUTION: 0.1-5 wt.% of water or an alcohol is added to the mixture of (A) an acid anhydride curing agent containing 0-1 wt.% of maleic anhydride, and (B) a curing accelerator comprising a tertiary amine or an amine-containing compound.
EFFECT: The curing agent is free from discoloration. A homogeneous, transparnt solution is obtained without formation of a viscous polymeric substance, by mixing the liquid curing agent with the tertizry amine even at room temperature
