Abstract
PURPOSE: Specific amounts of a polyamide and a metal salt of alkylsulfonate are incorporated to polyesters to produce title composition with durable antistatic property, stability against oxidation and especially excellent spinnability.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of a polyester containing recurring units of formula I (n is 2-6) are incorporated (B) 0.1-15 parts of a ]olyamide with melt viscosity of over 500, preferably over 700 poise at 280°C, preferably nylon 6 or nylon 66 and (C) 0.5-10 parts of a metal salt of alkylsufonate of formula II(R is lkyl; M is alkali metal). The metla salt of alkyl sulfonate is disired to have 8-20c alkyl group from a view point of compatibility with polymers. The combination of polyyoxethlene glycol over 4000 average molecular wieght incrases the antistatic property of the resulting composition
