Abstract

PURPOSE: To get a controller than can quickly control the water flow of a motor driven water pump, by controlling a fluid coupling and a water flow control valve.
CONSTITUTION: This pump is equipped with a water flow sensor composed of flow meter 4 and flow rate transmitter 5, a valve controller composed of adder 12, feed water controller 13, electropneumatic converter 14 and valve positioner 15, a differential prssure signal generator composed of prssure transmitters 7, 8, differential pressure setter 10 and adder 11, a corrector composed of differentiator 16 and adder 17, and a revolution controller composed of dead zone 18, regulator 19, high level selector 20, motor driving circuit 21, flash pipe control motor 22, flash pipe 23, flash pipe detector 24 and minimum revolution setter 25. according to a water feed command, the flow rate control valve 6 controls the flow rate through the valve controller and at the same time the output revolution of the fluid compling 2 is controlled to keep the pressure difference between the front and rear side of the control valve 6 within a proper range.
