Abstract

PURPOSE: To absorb difference in elongation due to expansion and contraction of the inner casing by using a constant length small diameter steel pipe without cutting it and slidably supporting it with support metals.
CONSTITUTION: Outer fittings 10 of roof surface are supported by a roof cutwater cover 11, a roof end cover 12 and a pipe support 18. The roof cutwater cover 11 is mounted on an L-shaped support 13 secured by welding to an inner casing 8. Bolts 15 are screwedly secured to nuts 14 on the inner casing side of the L-shaped support 13 to slidably support one end of each of outer fittings 10 for absorbing the difference of elongation of the inner casing 8.
