Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a fiber reinforced composite without generating a ply separation between expanded sheet layer and a fiber reinforced layer by a method wherein a glass mat having a predetermined fiber length is utilized as a fiber reinforced material layer contacting with the expanded sheet.
CONSTITUTION: One layer of a glass mat 2 having 25mm of a glass fiber length, for example, is put on a mold 1, and one layer of a glass mat 3 having 101mm of the glass fiber length is put thereon. Here, one layer or more of the fiber reinforced material contacting with an expanded sheet is specified to be a glass mat having 90W250mm of glass fiber length. Next, a soft expanded urethane sheet 4 of 15mm thick including continuous air bubbles is put thereon and a predetermined amount of polyester series resin or the like containing a hardening agent, a filler and the like is impregnated into the sheet 4. Thereafter, the glass mat 3 of 101mm thick and the glass mat 2 of 25mm thick are laminated again sequentially and curing under heat and pressure is effected, thereby, an objective composite may be obtained.
