Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of turbine as well as to decrease unsteady loss in such a way that flow passage area is gradually decreased to make contracted vein flow passage, and uniformity of the flow is improved. CONSTITUTION:Flow passage bulkheads 1c, 1d of a diaphragm 1 are made into contracted vein bulkheads which are gradually protruded to the sides of the flow passage as they go along from a nozzle outlet port 2b to the downstream side, and a contracted passage by gradually decreasing the sectional area of the flow passage to conduct from a static blade outlet port 2b to a dynamic blade inlet port 2a. The flow passage area of the static cascade decrease from the static blade inlet port 2a to the outlet port 2b, further, decreases from the static blade outlet port 2a to the rear end of the diaphragm. Therefore, uniformity is increased for flow in the dynamic blade inlet port 3a, to obtain a turbine which has high efficiency and high stability.
