Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a beautiful synthetic resin handle efficiently by providing a guide recess at the horizontal position in the cavity of the upper and lower molds formed to match the outline of a synthetic resin handle and press feeding a synthetic resin melted by heating above and below a metal handle fixed in the center of the cavity through the guide recess. CONSTITUTION:In the molding of a synthetic resin handle by sandwitching a metal handle plate A arranged in the center with a synthetic resin on the front and back thereof, cavities 2 and 2a are provided into the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 1a formed to match the outline of the synthetic resin halde. Guide recesses 3 and 3a are provided at the horizontal position in the cavities 2 and 2a and a metal handle plate (A) is fixed in the center of the cavities 2 and 2a. Then, a synthetic resin 14 is press fed into the cavities 2 and 2a in the horizontal direction through a clearance for communicating the cavities 2 and 2a above and below the metal handle plate (A) and the guide recesses 3 and 3a. In this manner, a beautiful product can be obtained at a high production efficiency.
