Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing process, decrease various manufacturing controls and reduce the costs by molding a container lid and a liner on a separate basis, each using different synthetic resins. CONSTITUTION:A molten resin A for use for making liner material is injected into a cavity 22 defined by a first fixed die 20 and a movable die 30 from gate 21 of the first fixed die 20. The movable die 30 is thereafter moved in the direction of the arrow D, while the liner material 4 remains adhered to the upper end of the movable die 30. A space 25 is defined by mating the movable die 30 with a second fixed die 23. A molten resin B for use for making a container lid is injected from a gate 24 of the second fixed die 23 into the space 25 and, by the subsequent removal from the dies, the manufacture of the container lid is completed.
