Abstract

PURPOSE: To scheme to improve handling and lubricating performance by supporting a driving mechanism by a supporting means which consists of a transmission case and a wheel case turnable and has a lubricating oil flowing passage arranged inside.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission case 22 is formed which is integral with a bearing body 8 which suspends a driving shaft rotatably and horizontally through a bearing 11. Onto the king-pin 30 and 31 of the transmission case 22, a wheel case 23 which consists of a transmission case 9 and a bearing case 10 through king-pin bearings 17 and 18 and a thrust bearing 16 is rotatably fabricated, having an intermediate power transmission case shaft 7 which is suspended vertically, as a center. Thus, the revolution of the driving shaft 1 is transmitted to wheels through bevel gears 3 and 4, intermediate power transmission shaft 7, bevel gears 5 and 6, and a wheel installing shaft 2. The well case 23 revolves, having the intermediate power transmission shaft 7 as a center, and oil flows from inside of the wheel case 23 to inside of the axle body 8 through a space 25, and a prescribed object can be achieved.
