Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish stable and correct measurement with a clear heating division by increasing the hot air blow in the course of heating after the thermofluorescent ray element reaches the lumination temperature of the first and second glow.
CONSTITUTION: Air from a blower 5 passes through a blow adjusting mechanism 5' to make an hot air at the heating section 6. The air is blown to the thermofluorescent ray element 1 retained with an element retaining section 7 to heat the element 1. The thermofluorescent emitted from the element 1 heated is detected with a detecting section 8 and integrated with an integrator 9 whereby the exposure level of the element 1 is indicated. In this method, the amount of the hot air is increased by stages at a fixed time interval with a timer of the mechanism 5' thereby changing the temperature of the element 1 by stages. Accordingly, preannealing, measuring heating of the main glow and the post-annealing can be performed at the optimal condition fefore and after the process ensuring the measuring of the main glow at a high accuracy.
