Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce title foam which does not have void, blister, shrinkage, subcutaneous cell fault and cell collapse, by a method wherein a filler is added to three specified kinds of polyol components and the mixt. is reacted with a polyfunctional isocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: (B) 5W30wt% filler having a particle diameter of not more than 3μ is added to (A) a polyol component consisting of (a) 80W60pts.wt. of a primary hydroxyl-terminated trifunctional polyol having a MW of 2,500W6,000, (b) 30W10pts.wt. secondary hydroxyl-terminated bifunctional polyol having a MW of 1,000W3,000, and (c) 10W5pts.wt. tetrafunctional polyol having a MW of not more than 1,000 and secondary hydroxyl end gp. of not less than 70%. The mixt, is reacted with a polyfunctional isocyanate in the presence of a catalyst and a blowing agent to obtain semirigid polyurethane foam having excellent shock-absorbing power.
