Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify constitution of an exciting pattern generator for pulse motor and thus to constitute a driving circuit at a low cost by providing a bit pattern generated from a bit pattern generator more than one. CONSTITUTION:In a driving circuit of a single-/two-phase excitation system, a bit pattern generator consisting of an 8-bit shift register 21 transfers bits in sequence according to a clock input 22. An exciting signal is outputted to phases A-D from output terminals Q1-Q4 respectively. Outputs of terminals Q3, Q5 are inputted to NOR27, and an output of NOR27 works as an input data of the shift register 21. As shown in the table, a bit pattern circulates at every timing of the clock input, and single- and two-phase excitations of a pulse motor are thus attained.
