Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a reliable firing and to quicken the spread of flames of a vaporizing type oil burner for stabilizing the raw combustion and hastening the shift of the combustion state to vaporizing combustion by forming a blast swirl guide passage connected to the blast chamber, on the base end of the combustion tube.
CONSTITUTION: A forced draft sent to a blast chamber 10 is controlled so as to be at constant pressure in an air passage 17 and an air chamber 16, sent to a blast swirl guide passage 18, and injected from injection nozzles 20, 20.... Guided by a swirl guide plate 19, the injected air is swirled in one direction along the inner wall of a combustion tube 1 from the base to the opening side of the combustion tube 1. Therefore, the atomized fuel oil injected from a rotary vaporizer 6 when the burner is started, is speedily and uniformly dispersed in the combustion tube 1 by the swirl air. Thus, a reliable firing can be obtained, and the spread of flames after firing can be quickened, so that the raw combustion can be stabilized in a short time, and the shift of the combustion state to vaporizing combustion can be hastened.
