Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve analysis of trace components proportional to the level of luminace quickly with a better sensitivity by putting a specified amount of the test piece and the reagent into the storage of the black box to react thereto and the electric output of the photoelectric multiplier is counted. CONSTITUTION:The test piece and the reagent are put into the specified amount detection cell 14 with distributors 40 and 42 from the test piece container 36 and the reagent container 38 and simulanteously, the switch 34 is turned on. With the mixing, the test piece and the reagent start chemical and biochemical reaction and the luminance is caused corresponding to the trace component in the test piece. The luminance in the cell is made incident on the light detecting surface 24a of the photoelectric multiplier 24 through the transparent plate 20, which provides the electric output proportional to the level of luminance. The ouput is counted by the amplification counting circuit 28, where the counting time is controlled as specified by the timer of the time setting circuit 32. The counted value by the circuit 28 is digitally indicated on the display 30 for analysis and indication of the trace component in the test piece corresponding to the level of the luminance.
