Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the thickness and weight of a compressor and an oil separator, by opening a gas discharge pipe of the compressor and a gas inlet port of the oil separator into a pressure container to diminish the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the outer shell of the container.
CONSTITUTION: Oil separators 24, 27 and a compressor 6 are housed in a pressure container 1. The gas discharge pipe 14 of the compressor 6 and the gas inlet port 28 of the oil separator 27 are opened into the interior of the container. Since the pressure in the pressure container 1 is kept high by high-pressure discharged gas, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the outer shells of the oil separators 24, 27 and the compressor 6 is made very small. Therefore, the thickness and weight of the high-pressure appliances can be reduced.
