Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the replacing color decision signals from the digital signals and thus to secure the simple and stable phase setting and others for the system in which the time axis error contained in the SECAM color video signals is removed.
CONSTITUTION: The SECAM color video signals containing the time axis error to be supplied to terminal 7 are supplied to A/D converter 8 as well as to horizontal synchronous signal isolation circuit 9 and then converted to the digital signals according to the horizontal synchronous signals of clock pulse generation circuit 10 to be memorized in 1st memory 12. Then the output of reference signal generator 13 is applied to memory 12 via sequencer 11, and the video signals of memory 12 are read out to be applied to compounding unit 18. At the same time, the signals of generator 13 are applied to address counter 15 and the color decision signals are memorized in programable ROM16 under the state of the digital signals. Then the color decision signals memorized in ROM16 are read out in the fixed period via the address signals of counter 15 and then supplied to unit 18 to be compounded with the video signals and then to be converted to the analog signals through D/A converter 19.
