Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify maintenance inspection by simmple constitution by setting the power supply of a display circuit control system to a fixed voltage by outputting a negative current to the display circuit only during the vertical synchronizing signal period in a composite-signal generating circuit by a series circuit of a capacitor and resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The memory and peripheral circuit 3 are stored with display data and video signal generating circuit 5 reads out the stored display data and then converts it into a video signal; and horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals generated by synchronizing signal generating circuit 6 are supplied to composite signal generating circuit 7, where a composite signal is composed of the video signal is composed of the video signal and synchronizing signals and displayed 8. only during the vertical synchronizing signal period in circuit 7, a negative current is outputted to display circuit 8 and capacitor C and resistance R3 are connected in series to obtain a time constant similar to that in a vertical repetitive period.
