Abstract

PURPOSE: To actually measure the reduction powdering ratio sintered ore with accuracy by measuring a change in permeability of the ore and by converting the measured value into the reduction powdering ratio of the ore.
CONSTITUTION: Prior to charging sample sintered ore, standard device 14 is put into measuring cell 6 with cylinder 15 and pulled out. Air is simultaneously spouted from air nozzle 18 to clean the inside of cell 6. At this time, bottom cover 8 is open. Zero point measurement is performed at this state, device 14 is put into the position of detection coil 7 again, and span measurement is performed. Next the above zero point and span standard values are inputted into operator 20 through signal processing part 19 to calculate a coefficient of correction according to the difference between a standard working curve at that time and the measured output characteristics. By reversely actuating cylinder 15 device 14 is raised to the original position, cover 8 is closed, and sample sintered ore is charged into cell 6. The resulting permeability is corrected in operator 20 according to the above coefficient, and the corrected permeability is converted into a reduction powdering ratio with a regression line memorized beforehand.
