Abstract

PURPOSE: To a composition consisting of an ethylene resin, an alkoxysilane bearing unsaturated groups, a radical initiator are added an alkylmercaptan and they are melt kneaded to produce title resin having high moldability and giving molded product with high mechanical strength.
CONSTITUTION: To (A) a composition consisting of (a) an ethylene resin as low density polyethylene, (b) an alkoxysilane containing unsaturated groups as vinyltriethoxysilane, and (c) a radical initiator as dicumyl peroxide are added (B) preferably an alkyl mercaptan of 6 or more carbon atoms as n-dodecyl mercaptan and they are melt kneaded to produce the objective resin wherein preferably 0.1W10 parts by wt of (B) is used per 100 parts of (b).
