Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a polyamide resin composition giving a molded article having excellent impact strength, by blending a polyamide and a modified ethylene copolymer prepared by the graft polymerisition of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid to a copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition obtained by the melt-mixing of (A) 1 part by weight of a polyamide resin and (B) 1/10W2/3, pref. 15/85W30/70 part of a modified ethylene copolymer having a crystallinity of 1W35%, pref. 1W30%, and a melt index of 0.01W50, pref. 0.1W20, obtained by grafting 0.05W1.5 wt%, pref. 0.1W1 wt% of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its acid derivative to a copolymer of ethylene and a ≥3C α-olefin, pref. propylene or butene-1.
