Abstract
PURPOSE: To apply pictorial pattern excellent in weathering to resin by heat transferring patterns of lake pigment by means of a pattern layer containing cation dye on the synthetic resin mixed with a specific compound.
CONSTITUTION: A peelable base sheet 1 such as polyester and parchment paper is superlaid with a pattern layer 2 printed with an ink containing a cation dye and a synthetic resin layer 3 mixed with 0.5 to 5% by weight of compound allows formation of a lake pigment in reaction with one or more kinds of cation dye selected among from sodium phosphomolybdate, sodium phosphorus wolframate and sodium phosphorus molybdata wolframate. After the removal of the sheet 1, the cation dye is transferred in the synthetic resin by heating p to 100 to 250°C. The afore-mentioned compound is brought into reaction with the cation dye to form a non-water-soluble permanent type pigment and then, the pattern layer is removed.
