Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a nCr fixed mark test by finding the logical product output between the output of a comparator for bit-width comparison and that of the other comparator for comparison of the number of set bits.
CONSTITUTION: To make a nCr test, data is set to (n) bits out of terminal groups D1 to D8 and binary numerals (n) and (r) are set to terminal groups (n1) to (n4), and (r1) to (r4) respectively. At the rise of a START pulse, data of terminal group D is set to shift register 5. At the fall of the START pulse, FF1 is set, gate 6 is made open to clock pulse CLK, and CLK is inputted to shift register 5, bit- width counter 6 and set-bit counter 4. The number of this clocks is compared with the set value of (n1) to (n4) by bit-width comparator 2. Data set to register 5, on the other hand, is inputted to counter 4 and compared with the data of (r1) to (r4) by set-bit- number comparator 2', and outputs of comparators 2 and 2' are AND-ed, so that test result OUT will be outputted.
