Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a thin and lightweiht material suitable for an edge with its air-permeability reduced by forming a foam-less-resin layer of bonded foamless resin on a foamed sheet and then by obtaining the speaker edge by cutting after thermal formation. CONSTITUTION:A resin material such as urethane resin and polyethylene is made into a foamed sheet and foamless resin such as acrylic resin and polyester resin is bonded on this base material. Of this bonded resin, a foamless resin layer is formed on the foamed sheet and after thermal formation, it is cut to obtain a speaker edge. Consequently, the foamless resin layer is formed on the foamed sheet to reduce its air-permeability and , in consequence, a thin and lightweight material can be obtained which is suitable for the edge.
