Abstract
PURPOSE: To selectively form abrasion-resistant layers in the portions requiring abrasion resistance of products by maintaining the temperature of the dies corresponding to said portions higher by 100W150°C than that of other portions at the time of pressure casting light alloy in the product cavity.
CONSTITUTION: A liner 3 is set in the portion of the rocker shaft hole 2 of the rocker arm 1 of the vertically two-split dies by using aluminum alloy for casting and with the temperature of said liner 3 being held higher by 100W150°C than that of other dies, pressure casting is done to form abration-resistant layers of 1.2W1.8mm in thickness in the portions of the rocker shaft hole 2 of the rocker arm 1.
