Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a high quality polymer containing little volatile substance, with improved flush efficiency, by heating a polymer containing the volatile substance to a specific temperature in a time not to cause the degradation of the polymer, and evaporating the substance by flushing.
CONSTITUTION: A polymer containing a volatile substance is introduced into an RF flush heater 1 composed of an insulation tube 9 and an electrode 10. The polymer is instantaneously heated by the RF heater to a temperature necessary for the flush evaporation, and flushed in a flush tank 2. The volatile substance is collected to a condenser 3, and the polymer is drawn from the tank 2 by a drawing means 4.
