Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable plating quantity per unit area to be controlled excellently at high speed plating, by providing gas wiping nozzle at a suitable position of the strip to be drawn out after dipping in plating bath and arranging static pressure fluid pad at facing position against nozzle putting between the strip. CONSTITUTION:One side of the strip 13 is wiped by the first step wipping nozzle 22 and the opposite side is wiped by the second step wipping nozzle 24 and then, both sides of the strip 13 are controlled at desired plating thickness. Thruning back phenomena of plating metal crossing over the side edge of the strip 13 by the gas jetting from the nozzle 22, 24, is prevented because the static pressure fluid pads 23, 25 are arranged at the position facing to the nozzle 22, 24 at the time of the above wiping. Also, rocking of the strip 13 is prevented and a good wiping operation is able to carry out.
