Abstract

PURPOSE: To feed a hydraulic apparatus with a predetermined high-pressure oil by providing a vlave for reducing the amount of oil fed to the apparatus when the oil delivery amount of an oil pump is increased.
CONSTITUTION: With an increase in the oil delivery amount in a passage 1 communicating an oil pump (not shown) with a hydraulic apparatus such as a power steering, the pressure drop across an orifice 2 increases, and the pressure difference between the pressure oil fed into a high-pressure chamber 6 through a passage 8 and the pressure oil fed into a low-pressure chamber 7 increases. Since a relief valve 17 is closed, a valve body 3 is operated against a spring 10 to communicate the passage 6 with a passage 11, recirculating the pressure oil to the suction port of the pump. With a further increase in the delivery amount, an annular groove 13a of an auxiliary valve 13 is aligned with a communication passage 12. In addition, the escape of pressure oil in excess of a predetermined amount can be restrained by a throttle valve 20 which functions to restrict the escape of the pressure oil on the downstream side of the orifice 2 into the passage 12.
