Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a damping release mechanism which operates electrically the tape run system of a cassette video tape recorder with a mount mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Mounting a cassette closes a microswitch to energize 1st solenoid 20 and capstan motor 50. Then, 1st solenoid 20 rotates 1st idler lever 8 counterclockwise to release brake lever 23, thereby allowing a tape to be fed out as loading disk 41 turns. Next, when disk 41 reaches the loading terminal point of the tape, cam lever 58 allows a roller to get into the notch of disk 41 to close microswitch 60 and also permits lever 37 to rotate counterclockwise to separate a loading mechanism from wheel 48. As a result, closed microswitch 60 stops the capstan motor and 1st solenoid 20, and consequently the rotation stop of disk 41 and releasing the turning contact of 1st idler 6 and the pressure contact of lever 23 are caused to complete a tape guide path by lever 37, so that the mechanism will be in a stop state.
