Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect the idle state of a shared signal line and increase or reduce freely the number of processing units by a constitution using a search line.
CONSTITUTION: Use state detecting search lines 5 and 6 are used. In case of the state of a common resource, search command T1a is transmitted from a processing part to input the state of detecting search lines into resister 8. That is, when search lines 5 as well as 6 are "H", the output of NAND gate 9 becomes "L", and output Q' of register 8 becomes "H", and the output of register 8 controls search lines 5 and 6 through inverter 10 and NAND gate 11 so that these lines may be "L" respectively. Consequently, under this state, other state detection control parts 7x of shared signal line 2 can hold the use of signal line 2 because it is detected that search lines 5 and 6 are in Busy state. In case that detection of idle states of search lines 5 and 6 for plural processing units is probalbe, state input command T2a is transmitted.
